By participating in Biological Sciences, you will be introduced into the world of biology and life sciences alongside your peers to build a supportive group to ensure you are successful your first year. You'll take a variety of introductory courses to explore what area of focus speaks to you most.
Along with building your close-knit community in Abel Hall, you'll participate in a variety of events that showcase the scientific pursuits you can explore in the future. This may include trips to the Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium or Lincoln Children's Zoo to learn about working with animals, hikes at Schramm State Park to understand different conservation efforts, and tours through UNL's own Bee Lab.
Visit the School of Biological Sciences to learn more about the different worlds you can explore.
