Join Press Pass: College of Journalism and Mass Communication to gain experience and network with some of the industry’s leaders in advertising, sports media and communication, public relations, journalism, and broadcasting!

To make the transition to college a little bit easier, you live together to have a built-in support network to make Nebraska feel like home. Along with support in your residence hall, you also have support in the classroom by learning alongside your community peers. You will also have the opportunity to connect with faculty, staff, upper-division students, and alumni working in both the College of Journalism and Mass Communications and in professional sports and non-sports media.

There will also be outings to visit and tour local media outlets and advertisement agencies. Some of these events include visiting the Lincoln Journal Star and the Channel 8 KLKN-TV station, Archrival, and Swanson Russell. All will allow you to talk with local professionals to understand their roles, learn about their experiences prior to getting their position, and see what jobs are out there once you graduate!

Visit the College of Journalism and Mass Communications (CoJMC) to learn more about the possibilities available.
